The Annual Parish Assembly will be held on Monday 19th May at 7:45pm in the Christy Hall, with a chance for a drink and a chat with councillors and neigbours beforehand from 7:15pm in the Bernard Clarke room. Our guest speaker this year is Will Perkins, Head Winemaker for Pinglestone Estate, makers of Louis Pommery England.

The Pinglestone Estate is the first English sparkling winemaker to be owned by a French champagne house and grows its grapes a short distance from Old Alresford, many of you may have seen the vines when out walking. During Will’s talk, we will learn about the setup of their operations, the characteristics of the land where they grow their vines, and much more. If you haven’t yet tasted their produce, then Pinglestone Estate will kindly offer us the chance to do so on arrival at the Christy Hall.

Following Will’s talk, Parish Council Chair Sandra Cornford will give a short update on the work of the Parish Council over the past year.

We look forward to seeing many of our parishioners at the APA - it would be helpful if you could let us know in advance if you are coming, to ensure we have enough refreshments for everyone!
