    There is a casual vacancy on Old Alresford Parish Council caused by the resignation of a Councillor.

    A by-election to fill the vacancies will be held if, within 14 days (not counting a Saturday or Sunday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, a Bank Holiday and a day appointed for public thanksgiving or mourning) from the date below, ten electors for the parish give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer.

    The address of the Returning Officer is:

    Hampshire
    SO23 9LJ

    If no such notice is given, the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co- option.
